Reel Repair
Every reel I repair or do maintenance on
gets the following:

Completely disassembled |

All parts, bearings and gears checked
for wear and/or damage |
|
|
Ultrasonic cleaned (NO HARSH CHEMICALS
OR PETROLEUM) |
|
|
Drag system checked and upgrades
offered if available |
|
|
Apply SUPER LUBE to gears and hot
sauce oil or rocket oil to bearings and a few other appropriate places.

I like Super Lube because of the
heat it can stand

Your reel will not be packed with
grease. That is bad maintenance and will attract every piece of dirt or
salt in the county.

You have the choice of lubricants.
I will give you my opinion but I will be happy to do whatever you think
you need.

Use Reel X in appropriate areas of
your reel.

Contact us for a quote. Parts are
extra. If you request or I have to use junk reel parts I will tell you
and they will be billed at one-half of a new part. |

If you would like to buy a new reel from me, off course I
would like that. If I don’t have one in stock that you need, I will help
you find one of the type you need.

On vintage reels where parts are difficult or impossible to
obtain, I will help you get them. I have a lot of vintage reel parts
on-hand. Penn, J C Higgins, Garcia, Ocean City and so on. If we cannot
find the parts:
