Big John's Marine and More

Hello and welcome to Big John's Marine and More. We are located on the banks of the Arroyo Colorado in Rio Hondo, Texas, in the Rio Grande Valley.  You might ask what we do here.  We sell fishing gear of all sorts.  We here at Big John’s Marine and More are not fishing snobs.  Just because you don’t fish with a 1000 dollar rod doesn’t mean we don’t have room for you here.  As you tour our site you will find a diverse amount of products and services.

Philosophy on Rod Building:  If you buy a custom rod from Big John’s Marine and More, It is not built yet.  A pre made custom rod is not made especially for you.  I do sell some pre-made hand crafted rods.  You must have an input into your purchase of your custom rod.  Things we need to consider in building you a rod are budget, blank, grips, reel seat,  guides, colors, and the kind of fishing you do.
